One of our major program that we manage in Indonesia is the Managing
Contractor Program Management – Australia Indonesia Basic Education Program
(MCPM-AIBEP). The Program’s objective to improve equitable access to higher
quality and better governed basic education services, especially in targeted
and disadvantaged areas in Indonesia.

In supporting the objective of the Program, we are looking for highly
qualified candidate to fill in the position of *Institutional Specialist
(National Post)*

*Duration of Assignment : *4 months between February and June 2011

The Institutional Specialist (National) will participate in a small team of
three which will work closely with Indonesian government counterparts in the
education sector to:

– assess existing school construction systems, primarily in relation to

– reporting and monitoring;
– community feedback systems;
– role of district and provincial governments in school construction
– explore anticipated actions to bridge any gaps found from the

*Qualifications and Experience:*

– MBA or equivalent qualification in institutional effectiveness and
organisational development, or comparable experience
– Effective interpersonal skills at senior levels and experience working
collaboratively with an international team
– Relevant experience reviewing government institutions and/or large
organisations and contributing to recommendations in relation to improved
capacity to deliver services.
– Experience working with counterparts to identify institutional
strengths and weaknesses, challenges and issues, policies, systems and
procedures in large institutional settings
– Experience identifying opportunities for change in relation to
recruitment, restructures, training, system introduction, program planning,
and capacity building.
– Fluency in Indonesian and English
– Education sector experience ideal
