CARE International Indonesia (CII), as an international NGO, has carried out
large scale operations in Indonesia, encompassing emergency operations,
transitional activities centered on agriculture and nutrition and a range of
development initiatives in such areas as water and sanitation, health and
micro-credit.

CARE Indonesia in Palangkaraya-Central Kalimantan is currently recruiting the
following positions for its project:

1.  POSITION TITLE: TEAM LEADER (TL-KFCP)
DEPARTMENT/ PROJECT: KFCP/PROJECT
REPORT TO: PROGRAM DESIGN & QUALITY MANAGER/KFCP COORDINATOR

Overview of Job Description:

He/ She will provide overall project management and leadership to the
demonstration activity, including coordination with/oversight of CARE community
engagement team and other CARE staff. He/ She will also responsible for other
construction activities. Including community and government liaison. Succesful
candidate will also To ensure the appropriate and professional implementation of
the Project in the most effective manner possible.  In particular to make every
effort to ensure that the Project’s objectives/outputs are achieved to a high
standard of quality according to the log frame and budget, within the contracted
project period and in compliance with national laws, donor regulations and CARE
policies and procedures.

Qualifications:

Applicant should came from engineering/construction background, 6 to 7 years of
experience managing community based construction. Have a proven track record of
success in the above as well as experience in dealing with construction and
associated issues. Have effective communication skills, particularly in
influencing and negotiation are essential for the position. He/ she should have
Specific technical skills: English Writing skill (reporting), financial
management, project cycle management, and conflict resolution

2.  POSITION TITLE: FINANCE AND PROCUREMENT SPECIALIST (FPS-KFCP)
DEPARTMENT/ PROJECT: KFCP/PROJECT
REPORT TO: TEAM LEADER/PROJECT

Overview of Job Description:

He/She will responsible for finance admin input to administer payments to the
communities, payment for procurement, as well as overall financial admin for the
activity. In the other hand the he/she will also responsible for the procurement
management, to manage and support local procurement of materials and manage
contracting processes. Participates in semi-complex buying strategies to
purchase and arrange timely deliveries of supplies and materials; expedites as
needed and serves as liaison between vendors and users, getting prior approval
for purchases in excess of established limits. Resolves semi-complex delivery,
quality or other related problems with purchases and invoices. Participates in
updating project plans and purchasing systems; reviews and analyzes requisitions
and supply plans for local purchases. Participates in the negotiation of prices,
terms and quality requirements prepare; requests for quotes and assists in the
development of new supply sources; evaluates market conditions. Solicits cost
reduction ideas from suppliers and initiates follow up action to implement these
savings for the company.

Qualifications:

Applicant should earn S1 (min) in related discipline or advanced degree.
Certification may be required in some areas. With 2-5 years of successful
experience in related field and successful demonstration of Key Responsibilities
and Knowledge as presented above. Demonstrates a good grasp of knowledge and
principles of field of specialization and applies through successful completion
of assignments. He/she should also have a successfully applies knowledge of
fundamental concepts, practices, and procedures of particular area of
specialization, have a proven track record of success in the above as well as
experience in dealing with commercial contracts and associated issues.
Experience of negotiating terms and conditions for the supply of goods and
services. Demonstrate skills and experience in managing business risk through
contracting, and possess a broad understanding of how contractual terms can
influence the dynamics of the supply of goods and services. Have effective
communication skills, particularly in influencing and negotiation are essential
for the position.

3. POSITION TITLE: COMMUNITY CONTRACTING SPECIALIST (CCS-KFCP)
DEPARTMENT/ PROJECT: KFCP/PROJECT
REPORT TO: TEAM LEADER/PROJECT

Overview of Job Description:

He/ she will responsible to support the development of community contracting
methodology and relevant documentation, including: Design of payment methods,
Development of contracting manual/templates, coverage of occupational health and
safety issues, local procurement market analysis and development of procurement
strategies, this position could include continuing remote support from off-site
in addition to initial on-site work.

Qualifications:

Bachelor degree from Management, English with Minimum 5 years experience in NGO,
preferably in the Program Unit and relevan experiences on designing the
contract. Ability to multitask and proactively follow up on issues, attention to
detail, ability to communicate in English, both spoken and written, Good in
writing report, literacy in computer, word processing, spread sheet and simple
data base. He/ She should have ability to work in team and under pressure. Have
effective communication skills, particularly in influencing and negotiation are
essential for the position.
